Hello, I'm Mau!

My journey in Game Design started in high school and has led to me having studied the field for 4 years and having 2 years of work experience with 1 released game and another on the way.

My strongest feature is my affinity to quickly learn new things like programs and games and I am very good at adapting to new environments.

I play a lot of games in my spare time (like Pokémon, Minecraft, League of Legends, and a lot more). But in addition to my gaming passion, I have an interest in Anime and Manga, pictures of cute cats, exercise running and I've also played Football (Soccer for you Americans) for 12 years.

My Journey in Game Design

Starting at Mediagymnasiet

I started my Game Dev journey in high school, at Mediagymnasiet Nacka Strand. There I attended the Game Design Program, aimed at teaching us the basics of game creation with the goal of prepping for higher levels of education in game design.

Next up was Futuregames!  I improved my abilities in game design, including deepening my knowledge of more niche design principles.

And with 3 big projects and 10 smaller project I really got to try them out.

My first job, Gro Play

At Futuregames I managed to land an internship at Gro Play. During my time at Gro Play, I worked on the LasseMaja game, leading to eventual hiring to finish off the project and ship my first title!

In the team I was in charge of Level Creation, the minimap system and content creation.
